Encounters with Insects

Me and my family are on holiday along a sandy beach town, renowned for its crabs. A ladybird infestation is in full force. The paths are red, cars covered, and people sweeping bucket loads of ladybirds from covered areas. Martyn Cockroaches When I was in Louisiana you would open the kitchen door which led to the garage and before I could get to the light switch I would hear them crunching under my feet. My main encounter with a wasp was in 1976, the hot summer. I was sitting on the shed step, put my arms behind me straight onto a wasp and the sting hurt bad. Ticks- I have been bitten by them in the States. Alan
